Il pittore Gianbar (Gianni Baretta) e' nato nel 1938 a Torino dove si e' diplomato al Liceo Artistico, vive e lavora in C.so Giulio Cesare.
Pittore di forte personalita' ha viaggiato molto, ha allestito mostre personali nelle principali citta' italiane ed europee.
Di notevole importanza e' stato l'invito ad esporre alla Reale Accademia di Londra.
Nel 1955 la sua citta' natale Torino, con il patrocinio della Regione Piemonte, gli ha dedicato una grande mostra antologica al PIEMONTE ARTISTICO CULTURALE, che ha destato notevole interesse di pubblico e critica.
La sua pittura inconfondibile con colori forti e personali, affronta con varie tematiche il ciclo naturale dell'uomo con tutte le sue ansie, vittorie e delusioni, pur svolte con una visione spirituale e positiva della vita.
Di notevole interesse sono i messaggi che il pittore proietta nel futuro prossimo dove presenze extraterrestri si affacciano misteriosamente dalle sue potenti tele con messaggi simbolici premonitori.....

The painter Gianbar (Gianni Baretta) was born in 1938 in Turin where he got a diploma in a "Liceo" specializing in art studies; he lives and works in C.so Giulio Cesare.He has a great personality, he travelled a lot and he staged personal art-exhibitions in the most important italian and european cities. He also had the honour to receive an invitation from the Royal London Academy to show his works.In 1995, Turin with the pleading of the Regione Piemonte dedicated him an important anthological exhibition at the "Piemonte Artistico Culturale", that roused great interest of public and critics.His unmistakable painting made of fast and personal colours is about the vital cycle of a human being, with his problems, his victories and his disappointments, but with a spiritual and positive outlook on life.
